The rug was professionally photographed and printed by a reputable, local photo source on high quality Epson archival paper, luster surface. The ink that’s used is archival pigment ink.
$42.50 for each, which includes shipping, sent rolled in a tube to avoid any creasing.

“Dog Team Tavern” was selected by Rug Hooking Magazine to be included in the 2021 Celebration of Hand-hooked Rugs, an annual compilation of rugs from the US and Canada. This story rug tells who, what, when, where and how hooked rugs became a cottage industry in the north Atlantic region.

My collection of hand-hooked rugs inspired by Native American designs will be on display at the Hunterdon County Library, 314 State Route 12, Bldg. #3, Flemington, NJ 08822 during the month of April.
Joining me in this collaboration will be the bead work created by Ray Kappel, whose beaded items will also be displayed.
Come enjoy this colorful, month-long exhibit reflecting the beauty and power of Native designs.

A snowy morning in NJ. A tip for cleaning hooked rugs: After a dry, powdery snowfall, take your rug outside. Place it right side down in the snow. Sprinkle a bit of snow over the rug and gently brush back and forth with a broom. You'll be amazed by the amount of dirt left behind on the snow when you pick up the rug. The rug colors will be brighter. I don't know why this happens...it's just a little miracle. Take the rug into the house, and let it dry naturally. Thank you Margaret Siano.
