CLOSING FOR 2026.

I want to give a big hearty thank you to everyone who took the time to visit my nursery this spring whether that was one visit or a gardening addiction level of visits! The sale area is pretty well picked over at this point and a mere fraction of what it usually looks like so I will be closing the nursery for 2026 with an eye toward growing next year’s selection.

I am confident that there will be no issues at all this growing season and I’ll get everything done just right…Nah! Just kidding! That never happens, but every gardener thinks that to start the year! I have LONG list of varieties I need to get to work on starting with potting all the evergreens and bushes I have growing in trays, to sowing the perennial seeds, dumping out all the dead plants from the past year…yes I have those too! The growing season is a constant scroll of one nursery job after another so I best be getting to it!

So enjoy all that the coming summer and fall seasons have to offer, and before you know it, spring will come back around and I’ll be ready to help supply the plants for the newest landscaping plans you’ve dreamed up over the winter!

Thank ya’ll so very much!

Nathan Carmichael

FINAL PLANT SALE THIS WEEKEND!!!
$6.97 EACH WHILE THEY LAST!

Rain or shine, the sale is this Friday and Saturday, 9:00am. to 5:00pm. The address is 1538 Oak Ridge Hwy Clinton, TN 37716.

Hi ya’ll! It’s been a busy spring and after 7 weeks I don’t have the inventory to continue beyond this upcoming weekend, so this is the last one for the year. The nursery isn’t stuffed to the brim like usual, but there is still plenty of plants to start with. Here is some of what is still available to fill your garden with!

I’ve got, Bridal Wreath Spirea, Dwarf Nandina, Jupiter’s Beard, White Cone Flower, some of those white spring flowering Magnolias called ‘Royal Star’, Siberian Iris, Threadleaf Coreopsis, and 5 varieties of Creeping Phlox in shades of hot pink to lilac. Plus more Hosta than you can shake a stick at! Not sure what that means but it sounds like a lot! I think in this case it means 11 different varieties.

I’ve also have beautiful flowering shrubs for $6.97 each too! Like Japanese Kerria, Lace-cap Hydrangea, 3 varieties of Weigela, then there are 2 colors of Azaleas, Rose of Sharon ‘Lucy’ & Aphrodite, Annabelle Hydrangea, along with pink Butterfly Bushes.

If a privacy screen is the crisis of the moment due to your neighbor’s collection of ‘valuable’ junk in his backyard or to block that busy highway I have plenty of $6.97 evergreens to get the job done. Nigra, and Green Giant Arborvitae. Plus, Eastern White Pine, Burk Cedar, Arizona Cypress ‘Carolina Sapphire’, and Nellie R Stevens Holly too.

Those are all great trees, but by far my most popular for screening is the fast growing Murray Cypress. That’s Leyland’s disease resistant cousin. At only $6.97 each you can plant the whole property line!

I’ve also got great ground covers like, Cotoneaster, which is a great option for that steep sunny bank that is hard to mow! For smaller scale jobs there is Monkey Grass (aka Liriope), or for something a little different Loosestrife. All are $6.97 each of course.

There’s a whole lot more in the nursery so let me run down a quick list of what is here for you! Both blue and white types of Woodland Phlox, Common Betony, Yellow Primroses, 3 colors of Balloon Flower, Stella de Oro & Happy Returns Daylilies, 3 colors of Crape Myrtles, 6 colors of Iris, Wild Columbine, Fern-leaf Bleeding Heart (just a handful of those left), Corkscrew Willow, Burning Bush, Blackeyed Susans, 3 colors of Hardy Hibiscus, Swamp Milkweed, Irish Moss, Potentilla, Heuchera and Heucherella, Purple Aster, Agastache, False Indigo, and more!

There are others besides these but that give you the main idea of what I’ve got on tap for this weekend!

And fruit bearing plants too! I still have a few Blueberries, along with Elderberris, Nanking Cherry, Fig Trees, and red Raspberries all for $6.97 each! Also larger sizes of Fruit trees including 3 kinds of Pears, Sweet Cherry and Sour Cherry trees for $24.97ea.

In addition, the herb bench features smaller square pots of herbs favorites like German Chamomile, St. Johns Wort, Feverfew, Borage, Genovese Basil, Greek Oregano, and more along with a whole mess of tomato & Pepper varieties including Celebrity Plus, Mortgage Lifter, Cherokee Purple, Sungold, and Tommy Toe and Jalapeno, Cal. Wonder Pepper just to name a couple. All those are $4 each. Also larger square pots of Mint for $5.50ea.

Oh yes, one more thing. I have a few larger plants like 2.5 gal. Azaleas for $19.97 and 2 gal. Burning Bush for $12ea.

Plus some of those fancy grafted Japanese Maples from weeping varieties to one with red bark, all ranging from $39.97 to $44.97each! Some places wouldn’t let you take home a leaf for that!
I told you the nursery was full!

Alright you’ve got the picture now so here is important info again.
Rain or shine, the sale starts this Friday and Saturday, 9:00am. to 5:00pm. The address is 1538 Oak Ridge Hwy Clinton, TN 37716.

The planting rush is on! So come load up the trunk of your car before the ones you want are gone…and then share this post with your gardening friends!
