The Clinton Book Shop is open 7-days a week and our web site enables you to shop 24-7. You can even download ebooks to most any reading device (except the kindle). We are proud to have served this community for nearly 40-years. Take a look at our events page and come visit. Clinton is a beautiful place to spend the day. We are so close to NYC, Philadelphia, and the Lehigh Valley. Please allow us t

o explain our ticket policy for events held at the Clinton Book Shop. The price of the ticket is the cost of the book. All books presented for signing must be purchased through the Clinton Book Shop. This has been a long standing policy of ours. This policy allows us to keep our doors open so that we may continue to present great authors. There is staff to pay, electric biils, rent and the myriad other expenses associated with operating our shop. If we were to open our doors and sell no books, we would not be in business much longer. While we understand that there are those who choose to purchase their books from online discounters, we do not honor that as a ticket. The book must be purchased from the Clinton Book Shop. Online discount entities have their place, just not in the Clinton Book Shop. We hope that the following helps to put this policy into perspective. One would not take food purchased from one restaurant and expect to be seated at another to consume that food. It would be a silly request. Don't you agree? OK, so we know that you do because you are a friend of ours. You would be amazed at how many don't get it though. Our hope is that we can continue to serve this amazing community for many many years to come. This is just one small way to help along the road. Thanks so much for your continued support of the Clinton Book Shop. We love this community, our friends, and of course, books.

Our good friend, Maryann has released her newest book. We hear there is a character many of you may be able to identify. Read this.

Dear Readers, I am an author who refused to give up her dream. I am now an internationally published novelist and three-time American Bookseller Association “Must Read” author. My originally self-published novel, THE RICHEST SEASON, sold at auction to Hyperion Books and became a Target Breakout...

Looking back to 2018, when Mayor Janice Kovach performed our wedding ceremony. When Harvey first purchased the book shop in 2003, the climate of Clinton was not the most welcoming for Gay couples. Many didn't know we were a couple. When we did make it known about 4 years later, or, stopped hiding it, we even lost customers. By the time we had to let our little book shop go, Clinton had changed. Clinton was more welcoming, more open, and saying goodbye was hard. Thank you Janice for being such a big part of that change. Oh yes, we would have a huge Re-elect Kovach sign on our shop today.

We want to thank everyone who made our day so amazing. We did it and we did it in Clinton. There are no words to express our gratitude except Thank You. Pina Giuliana, our friend and partner in crime in this town, owner of Paper Grace on Main, LLC. and her cohort, Diana Senkevitch went above and beyond to see that everything was just right. We love you ladies without end. Mayor Janice Kovach who has, from day one, been a rock for us, you are loved. The Clinton House, as always, made it perfect. Back to work today with the most heartfelt gratitude and love for all of you.
