About 2 years ago, my son, Hunter bought a building on Main Street to renovate for his office. The purpose was to have a space for all things work and office related. As we renovated, it turned in to what everyone now knows as FarmHaus Square. Durning our final stage of renovation, we got the opportunity to buy and renovate the Corcoran Building, just two doors down from us. That might have been one of my favorite projects to date.
As we made our first purchase of furniture my daddy was diagnosed with cancer. For a little over 18 months, we’ve care-taken and been by my parents side for every peak and valley that chapter brought… and opened the store as the schedule allowed. Eight weeks ago my daddy passed away and I’ve realized life is so, so short.
I have loved my store. I have loved the people we’ve met, the lifelong friends we’ve made, and the chapter that store-front brought. We’ve made the decision to close our store front by year’s end. Renovating is our passion and God has opened the door for several projects we can’t wait to tackle. Although the store-front will be no more, I’ll still be available for private shopping by phone, text, and Facebook. We will still have a flow of furniture in and out, as the next few projects we’re renovating will be furnished all things FarmHaus Style.
*** We will be open thru the 23rd of December, with new sales on given days! ***
With all of that said, if anyone is interested in commercial space, our building will be up for sale or possibly for rent after the first of the year. It is completely renovated, it has character, and it is ready for the next chapter. Please reach out to Hunter with any questions: 225.276.4404.
Love,
Laura
