I just had to share this lovely note with all of you, because you’re the ones that made it all happen.
Today is our last day at the Clifton shop. 🤍 We’ll miss seeing your smiling faces much more than any of you know. A quick thank you to our team through the years - Evan, Tina, Sam, Kat, Ayah, Liz, Ainsley, Ryann, Rebecca, Lisa, Marta, Jacob, Drew, Ellie, and Elise.
The world 🌍 is small. The decisions we make in how we treat others, our environment, and ourselves really matters. It has a ripple effect to all of those around us.
The world 🌎 can be a scary place, but we’ve got to start surrounding ourselves with positivity. By showing respect for each other, no matter your political party, or where you grew up, or how you earn your living. By admiring all of the wonderful, unique aspects about each of us rather than expecting perfection. By valuing the end result rather than just the conveniences along the way.
This little community we’ve built is pretty incredible, and I’m trying to find a way to continue to foster it, just in new and different ways. I’m not sure yet what that means, but I want to continue to connect you with other likeminded humans.
Our vendors are ALL so worthy of your patronage. I’m tagging many of them here, and I’d be so grateful if you follow them, like their posts and comment to encourage them to keep going.
The things around you should all have stories. You should know what goes into making your products, and makers should see you loving and enjoying them as part of a life you love to live.
One chapter is ending, and we’re for sure evolving here at . If you’re a vintage lover, follow our old Richmond account that’s now - we’re turning it into all things vintage in Virginia. And we ARE ALSO planning to continue to use this VM account in new ways.
I can’t thank you enough for the past five years, and hope you’ll stick around for the next chapter.
