Band, Chorus and Art classes can be arranged with 6 foot seperation, many have already been reduced to 25 or less per class. There's no reason to cut these vital subjects. Cut out contact sports and extra credit classes.

PSA: Dirty musical instruments carry a multitude of viral spores. Your child simply having his/her own mouthpiece is not enough protection from these spores. Sharing instruments is not a good practice, we know kids will do it without thinking.
Before you tell your child they have to give up the band, have the instrument cleaned. High Note Music can do it faster and cheaper than anyone else around. Most brass instruments can be chemically cleaned and disinfected for $65.00 and take 1 day. Flutes, Clarinets and saxophones will have to be assessed, can take 1-4 days.
