Just finished up listing a bunch of yearbooks on both Ebay and Amazon. Took a while because I became absorbed in the story they told. They were from an estate sale. She had been a school secretary and her husband a teacher and school principal. They met in high school, he was the new guy in a small town school. He had bounced around, this was his third high school. They settled down ending up working in the same school for decades. Both their children went through their school. Pieced the story together through 25+ yearbooks from five different schools between 1950 and 1989. They retired to Florida where the books passed into my possession. One sold within minutes. Very unusual, yearbooks are very slow sellers. Kept the melancholy at bay thinking that their story really isn't over... Part of the reason for continuing the "business."

The past two weeks have been remarkable and remind me why I still have this "HOBBY BUSINESS." Shipped 15 books in less than two days and 20+ for the week. Sold two relatively rare books, and probably the highest priced book since starting over 15 years ago. It's not about the money so much as returning used books to people who want them at a reasonable price. My books mostly come from library and estate sales and so represent people's lifetimes. A memorial of sorts.

Several recent estate buyouts have yielded some rare books. Cookbooks, cookbooks, cookbooks from a chef's decades long collection habit. Feel ashamed how many I had to pass on, simply do not have the space.

Over one hundred new books on disc are now available with more to be posted soon on Ebay. All are ex library copies in excellent condition with mostly hard cases. Priced between $5.99-9.99.

New location is almost up and functioning. Exiting the Music CD and DVD business. Fees were too high for such a slow market. Its a shame as there is an abundant supply. Someone who concentrates on the disc market should be able to make a pretty good living, lots of cheap stock.

Taking a slight pause on introducing new materials due to storage capacity having been reached. Slowly clearing lower priced and slow selling or outdated items from inventory. Should be seeking new inventory by the end of May. If you have any particular genre you are looking for let us know....

Current hot sellers are self published and unusual military topics, and old sheet music...we are slowly exiting the lower priced end of the market due to increased shipping costs...will be putting those items on sale to clear the stock this includes a lot of children's and young adult materials as well as classics
