NEW PRODUCTS AND UPDATES!
Hello everyone. Hope everyone had a safe and restful weekend. As summer swings into gear, I wanted to take a few minutes to point out new products we have up on the store and quick updates.

We have tons of Hot Spots: Draconis Reach available outside of the preorders that have already shipped. Throwing in Force Manual: Mercenaries adds some great reading and updates to your Battletech world.

We have some great restocks in from Metal Core Collectibles and restocks and some wicked new products from Cross Electric Designs like the new dice storage and Compatriot Dropships. Make sure to pick up the Landing Pad for your dropships!

We are continuing to expand the lines of Warmachine products and P3 paints and are an official Steam Forge merchant. New HALO: Flashpoint Noble Team sets should be arriving by the end of the week, fingers crossed.

We are now carrying our own Fortress exclusive line of paint brushes. Our first set is 5 sable brushes sizes (00, 0, 1, 2, 3) and 2 awesome drybrush's size S & M. We have had wonderful reviews on quality and best of all, no middleman so we can offer these at a much better price than you would normally find elsewhere.

Also, we are now an official merchant for BLKOUT. Check out this wicked, super-fast paced game.

Questions abound about when we will list for Preorder the upcoming Aces: Snow Blind... CGL has not released any information or details to distributors yet so until then we are all in limbo.

Finally, more information for Southern Assault VI will be coming very soon. Finishing up the school year with students this week and then I can focus on all that is holy, lol! I can tell you for sure it is November 6th-November 10th in Clemmons, NC at the same location, Village Inn Hotel and Event Center. We are expanding it even more this year. It will be a blast for sure!

MEMORIAL DAY
Please take a moment to reflect and join in solidarity with our friends and families who lost someone dear during this Memorial Day weekend. I know it is often time to kick off summer, but more importantly it is a time of remembrance, mourning and honoring those who have fallen in military service to our country here in the USA.

You are never forgotten.

PREORDERS ARE LIVE
We are just as super excited for the just announced new Battletech Core Box, Starter Box, and Core Rulebook. These are all slated to release August 1, 2026. That is as of right now. Things are always subject to change, but with the opportunity to offer full on Preorders now we felt this would be great first products.

Please only order what you want in Preorder. Otherwise anything else you add to the order will be held for 6 months. Because we are anticipating huge numbers of preorders/orders in preparation of their release this will help us plan for inventory so we don't run out after only 1 or 2 days.

Also, we are super excited to announce a partnership with game designer Dale Eadeh (of Hardware Studios). These are a Fortress exclusive as of right now. In preparation for his new game Oasis: Tactical Salvage Reclamation, we designed some new game mats specifically for 6mm-15mm games. Area of Operations game mats are perfect for Alpha Strike, Oasis, Steel Rift, Heavy Gear and many others. Our first run of mats are 6'x3' double sided neoprene and gorgeous to play on. Coming in at a great price point compared to other gamer mats this size these should definitely be a hit.

We are expecting some new product for Noble Team of HALO:Flashpoint near the end of the month (did you know we are the largest supplier of Halo on the East Coast), Warmachine is going strong (we will be continuing to expand the line) and tons of new items are up on the site, also we had a HUGE restock of Army Painter products hit the shelves.

For those wondering, Southern Assault 6 dates are locked in. November 6th-10th, 2026. Clemmons, NC. We will be getting sign up information out to folks down the road, but lock in your vacations, we hope to see you there. We have already expanded by adding more conference room space this year so it will be even bigger!

Updates

This year 2026 Southern Assault will be November 6th 5:00pm until November 10th 5:00pm

Will be hosted at the same location- Village Inn Events Center and Hotel (Wyndham) in Clemmons, NC

Sign up and details will be coming later but this is to save the date.

Same great Battletech events of AS, Classic, tournaments for both and we are going to expand into a secondary room with some HALO: Flashpoint, possible Heavy Gear, and tons more Battletech along with some other fun games and the store.

HERE IS TO AN AMAZING 2026!
I want to take a moment to thank all of you for making 2025 such an awesome year for Fortress and looking forward to 2026. I'm not going to post about products. This is strictly a thank you, hope you have amazing holidays, stay safe, and we look forward to meeting your gaming needs on the flipside of midnight.

Can you believe we celebrated the 5th year of Fortress just 2 weeks ago. We were so busy with the move and settling in we didn't get a chance to post then but wanted to thank all of you for a slew of new milestones.

* Over 10,700 orders this year
* Over 43,000 orders to date
* Over 35,800 customers served
* Hosted our first convention this year (will be in November every year- Southern Assault)
* Hosted the largest single Battletech event in North America 3 years running (Alpha Strike tournament)
* We have now shipped to over 65 different countries
* Working with some amazing others in the Battletech community for a Battlegrounds tournament circuit of sorts.
* Provided a level of support to 35 different gaming events this past year
* Work with some of the most amazing Podcasters and Youtubers out there

You are all the reasons we have grown so strongly and been able to serve the gaming community worldwide. I cannot say thank you enough for your support, trust, and understanding. Obviously without you we are nothing!

Sometimes I make mistakes, I always try to get them corrected as quickly as possible. As a one-employee store with a full-time day job as a school Principal, I miss things at times or get a little behind in orders, but we always catch up and are always here to serve you.

Even though I am one official employee, it is due to the generous help of strong friends that we can survive and thrive with things like Southern Assault, moving and other such. So thank you to Todd, Ryan, JR, Kevin, Mike, and Doug.

Again, thank you. We look forward to being your go-to store for 2026 and the future.
