The first Philadelphia Comic Con of 2024 is on Sunday January 21st from 10 AM to 3:30 PM held at our usual location of the Clarion hotel and conference center located at 76 Industrial Highway (Route 291) in Essington Pennsylvania. Zip code is 19029 for those using GPS.
If using public transport Septa bus route 37 stops directly in front of the hotel.
The event center is centrally located with easy access from I-95 (can either use exit 8 or 9A),
I-76 and I-476 plus bridges from NJ if you are a fan from that state.
The con is held in the spacious 3,000 square foot Presidential ballroom with free parking on site.
Admission is only $4 per person.
The Mid Atlantic's longest running comic con draws dealers from five states and will be hosting a guest artist this time. South Jersey native Jay Taylor is our featured guest artist this show. Artist and president of On The Square Comics. Jay will have prints for sale along with being available all day for commissions.
Comics from all eras and price points will be for sale at the con. Looking for comics under a dollar? Well there will be boxes full at the start of the show. At the end of the con probably not as one vendor at our last show sold through 11 long boxes of his dollar comics selection. If you are a high end collector no worries as there will be several dealers to fill your want lists too. Funko Pops, original artwork, collecting supplies, graphic novels and even a few trading cards are generally found at each show including this one.
