As I sit here not-so-patiently waiting for this year's garden to fill in and flourish, I can't help but think about how far my little junk garden has come since I started it in the summer of 2020.
It all began with three galvanized troughs from Tractor Supply and some leftover gravel from a landscaping project.
For most people, that probably would have been enough. But not me. ๐ฌ
Each summer, I've added something newโa wider garden space, a reclaimed brick walkway, a potting bench, two more trough planters, a water feature, an arbor, hog panel trellises, and more.
Over the last six years, that small patch of ground behind my garage has slowly transformed into my own little outdoor oasis. ๐ฅฐ
It's a good reminder that the things we dream about rarely happen overnight. The best projects, gardens, and goals take time, patience, and a little bit of persistence.๐
