For 12 years, sat at the corner of Cannon and Smith streets, in downtown Charleston, SC. I’ve been shopping there for about a decade and finally became part of its story when Brett let me help out, part time, while trying to figure out my life these past few years.
I&C was one of the only shops to carry brands like , , , and . You could also find a brand like that would periodically have trunk shows, by the people that run the brand.
Brett built such a great destination, with Indigo & Cotton, that everyone in the menswear community knew about. I got to meet a lot of people that have loved the shop and always made a point to drop in, just because.
I’m going to miss the store. Yeah, it was a job. It was actually more than that, to me, but not something I can put into words.

Thank you for your time and continuously extraordinary effort, my friend.

2022 was dumb but better than 2021.
-There were many, many Circle Back shows that put a lot of miles on the Backmobile, including going 1k+ miles to Burlington, VT for the first time. I love these trips with my guys because I love being around them. 2023 is already adding new cities to the CB travel map. So many shows to announce soon.
-I took a giant step back from markets for specific reasons, this year. Honestly, DRG has been fairly dormant, lately. There are so many new vendors in Charleston and an insane amount of markets, always, that it hasn’t been very lucrative so it’s time to pivot and find a new path. Stay tuned for that, when I completely figure it out.
-In the meantime, I’ll still be posting outfits and updates regarding CB and DRG. Stick with me, I do feel like life is getting a little better.

Todays mail day was bonkers.
•First photo is an order from Fast Doll that includes the bandana, beanie and DIY patch kit that I cannot WAIT to start stitching.
•Second photo is from my internet best friend, Nic Sibson. He sent me an incredibly thoughtful care package from Montana that accompanied a pair of Brave Star Selvage black regular taper that he gave me an amazing deal on.
Like I said… bonkers.
