One Vision Thrift Store - Clear Lake

One Vision Thrift Store - Clear Lake One Vision Thrift is a nonprofit thrift store accepting clothes, furniture, and household items in Clear Lake, Iowa. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Located at 830 Hwy 18, your donations help fund our mission to support individuals with disabilities live their best lives! The stores also accept donations of gently-used or new items. Donations may be dropped off at either stores during store hours (see below). Receipts are available at the time of donation for tax purposes. The General Store in Clear Lake is located at 830 Highway 18 W. Monday

through Saturday and closed on Sundays. The Fort Dodge store, which opened in October 2011, is located at 12 N. 25th St. (near the Crossroads Mall).

If you noticed our usual Monday morning post was missing, it’s because our donation department got absolutely slammed! We dealt with a mountain of bags and boxes yesterday, and it was "all hands on deck" to get everything sorted.

But honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s the best kind of "problem" to have.

While we’re busy at One Vision Thrift, our DSPs are out in the community working with heart and soul every single day. They are at the front lines of everything we do; providing the best care to all the awesome people we serve.

Since moving into his own One Vision Smart Living apartment, Seth has gained skills, confidence, and pride in his independence. 💚 He cooks meals, keeps his space spotless, and even hosts family visits — all while engaging in community activities he enjoys, like announcing for high school JV baseball games.

This technology-enhanced support lets Seth live life on his terms while staying safe and connected. “He’s more than capable of living independently,” his parents say.

It was such a vibe having that extra energy at One Vision Thrift! Even with just a portion of their morning, these students jumped right in, helping us refresh the floor and keep our newest arrivals organized. Seeing the local youth take time out of their busy schedules to support their community is exactly what it's all about! 🧡🙌
