It's a beautiful day for a trip up to Dewey Kruger music in Northwood Iowa. I have known him for 25 years, and will be tuning a Kawai RX-1 grand piano that he just sold before it goes out for delivery. Also some floor tunings. Dewey has been selling pianos and church organs in the cornfield for 50 years and has a nice selection of new and used pianos. So if you are in the market...get up here and try a few out.

Always fun to share this post. I tuned the pianos in this video about every other Friday, when Tina and I lived in Nashville, Tennessee. We are still tuning pianos full-time Monday through Friday back in the cornfields of Iowa. Call next week for your appointments and get on the schedule. 🎹

Thank you north Iowa southern Minnesota piano owners for another great kick off to the school season piano tuning! 26 years in business this year! My lovely wife, Tina is working her way through her piano tuning and technician apprenticeship with me this past year, and is doing a great job. She is joining me in the piano tuning trade this 2025 season. We are now taking new home and studio customers as we are caught up with our schools for now. This is the day I met Kris Kristofferson in Nashville,Tennessee when I was the piano tuner technician for the Legends and lyrics series recordings at the old Masonic Lodge in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, while working for Seale keyworks. We shared a few stories and laughs together. I thanked him for the music, and he told me to thank my dad for buying his albums.
