Today was one of those days that's so frustrating, it hurts. 💔
Someone stole a brand new Joeyband from our store and left the packaging behind on the floor like it meant nothing. This item retails for around $70, and through Babylove’s they could have purchased it for 50% off. Instead, they chose to steal it.
When people steal from small businesses, they are not stealing from a giant corporation. They are stealing from my family, from the families who trust Babylove’s to sell their items, and from a business built with long hours, sacrifice, and heart.
Every item in our store belongs to someone’s family. Many of our consignors are moms trying to make ends meet, grandparents helping their families, or parents simply trying to give their children what they need while helping another family save money too.
We work incredibly hard to create a safe, welcoming place for our community, and moments like this are honestly heartbreaking.
