I used to think that it would be a little out there to feel the need to "decorate" a camper. But! listening to Kate my heart got that rambling fever to add some of that boho/gypsy/rustic influence to my life that she is so good at doing. So I found a totally untouched canvas in our camper. The trowel towel holder is all her creativity, but I absolutely love it. I don't feel like the camper is done, but the little I've done has made it feel a lot more inviting and cozy...our own little vaca paradise of sorts. Life has taught me to enjoy and soak up all the little things, because everything about it is very fleeting. I encourage you to do and create what makes you smile...and thank the Provider for it all. (This project was totally done by using stuff I had around the house, a can of gold spray paint, and a few things I grabbed from my booth, "the WhiteWashed Farmhouse" located in in downtown Claremore, OK.)

today's adventures include these two found pieces. The stand I picked up at a junk store and is made of an old tin on a wooden pedestal...I added the white drippy paint for some added character. The white pitcher is actually a brown ceramic pitcher that I painted with white chalk paint and then glazed the bottom with gold sprayed out of a can and brushed on. If you're bored with your decor, paint can cure your fever and save you money 😉

I'm one of those who believes you should let the wonder of Christmas decor fade out on its own, and not rob yourself of its cheery beauty by allowing the pressure of your peers to prompt a forced extraction. I prefer to leave it out a while so the romantic in me can endure until the holy season dawns again...IN OTHER WORDS...my tree is still up. And I'm enjoying it. But I will probably put it up soon. And put the house back. Maybe.
