What a groovy day in Uptown Circleville!

Our 3rd Annual Mrs. Roper Crawl welcomed more than 70 Helens to our streets for an afternoon of shopping, dining, music, laughter, and community. Events like this don’t happen without the support of so many people and businesses.

Thank you to our prize sponsors, swag bag contributors, musicians, vendors, shops, restaurants, bars, volunteers, and community partners who helped make the day special. A special thank you to Shifty’s for welcoming us for the third year in a row and to the Circleville Eagles for helping us wrap up the day with our Best Helen contest and prizes.

Thank you to the Circleville Herald for helping spread the word, and to every participant who put on a caftan, grabbed their gals and pals, and spent the day supporting Uptown.

Our mission is simple: create reasons for people to come downtown, support local businesses, and experience everything Uptown Circleville has to offer. Saturday was a wonderful example of that mission in action.

The Mrs. Roper Crawl will return on the second Saturday in June 2027. We can’t wait to continue growing this event and welcoming even more Helens to Uptown Circleville.

Sharing my testimony is not something I take lightly. Being vulnerable isn’t easy, but after the message I heard this past Sunday, I felt called to share.

My hope is that my story helps someone who may be struggling and searching for hope. Over the past year, God has transformed my life in ways I never expected. The challenges haven’t magically disappeared, and life isn’t always easier, but it is far less stressful when I allow the Lord to lead my path instead of trying to navigate everything on my own.

I would love to talk with anyone about their struggles, their faith journey, or where the Lord may be leading them. My testimony was originally shared with my church when I made the decision to be baptized, and today I feel led to share it more broadly in hopes that it encourages someone else.

God is still working, and I’m grateful for His faithfulness every step of the way.

Sydney is the artist behind Sun and Mind Company, a colorful, positivity-focused brand featuring her hand-drawn original designs. She started her business in July 2022 as a sticker shop, but expanded to include apparel featuring hand-lettered encouraging phrases later that year. She believes in the power of positive words, and her goal is to create tangible and wearable reminders that you can carry with you wherever you go!
