Hello, old friends! We've missed you! We have decided to open up shop, or more so, a tent to give our customers the opportunity to get the fresh produce we all know and love. Just a reminder - we are currently collecting donations for the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Cincinnati that we'll be delivering each weekend. We have a $10, $15 & $30 option to donate. Other donation notes are listed in each description; we'd be happy to figure out a place to pick up other donations, if you'd rather donate any top items that RMHC needs. This is locally grown Amish grown produce that we'll be delivering to the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Cincinnati. Your donation will help families that are currently living at the Cincinnati RMH, families from all over, who are trying to stay as close as possible to their little ones who are fighting for their health, and some are fighting for their lives. These are fresh "local" tomatoes from whole foods, they're grown in Mexico. I cut one of their tomatoes next to an Amish tomato guess which one is which!

On August 7, 2011, my life changed forever. My twin sons, Colton & Connor decided to make an early debut into the world. My boys were born at Good Samaritan hospital in Cincinnati. They both weighed just over 2 pounds each. They couldn't breathe on their own, couldn't eat on their own. It was a monumental task for them to let out even the faintest cry. The next 3 & a half months of these tiny little beings living in the NICU, was a constant rollercoaster of milestones & emotions; both positive & negative. I could never give enough praise to the amazing doctors & nurses that took such amazing care of my boys, helping them to overcome every obstacle & helping them to grow stronger. With all of the ups & downs that became my life for this never-ending period of time, the one organization that helped to relieve copious amounts of stress was the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Cincinnati. Living more than an hour away from the hospital where my boys were, was a hurdle that seemed impossible to overcome. RMHC provided a room that was a 5 minute drive from my precious boys. They offered a food pantry with a full kitchen, so we could make a meal or grab a quick snack, before & after those long days of going back & forth to the hospital to be with my boys. I would not have gotten through everything without RMHC & although I will NEVER be able to repay them for what they did to support my family, I would love to do something to help those who are dealing with those same hurdles right now. So, Twin Cedars Amish Produce will be providing the Ronald McDonald House with the best local Amish produce available, for the remainder of this season. We'd love for you to join us in supporting this incredibly giving organization. We now have an option for a 1 time purchase to be donated directly to Ronald McDonald House, where their chef will prepare meals for ill children & their families.
