Get to know Terry and his booth, Overflow!
Located on the main floor next to the sales desk, Overflow is a must-visit destination for vinyl enthusiasts, music lovers, and collectors. The booth’s name holds a personal story behind it; after Terry moved to the Cincinnati area from Northern Ohio, his moving truck was filled with leftover items from their mother’s estate, providing the inspiration for what would eventually become the name, “Overflow.” Terry began selling antique furniture out of a garage before visiting Riverside and was encouraged to apply for a booth. Today, Overflow serves as the main music booth at Riverside, specializing in collectible vinyl records. The booth is divided into three sections, with albums organized alphabetically and by price, making it easy to browse. The selection is regularly restocked with new finds and even includes several hundred rock albums priced at just $5 each. Shoppers can also discover original vintage band posters featuring artists such as Pink Floyd, KISS, and Led Zeppelin. Terry takes great pride in offering clean, quality collectibles and personally hand-cleans every album at home, a process he finds both relaxing and enjoyable. There are no secret stashes or items held back, either; every collectible item is available for customers to purchase and enjoy, providing a constantly changing selection to explore. With his affordable records, vintage music memorabilia, and ever-changing inventory, Overflow offers shoppers a fun opportunity to discover a little piece of music history. Outside of the business, Terry enjoys his time volunteering at Cincinnati Challenge Ranch, a Christian addiction rehab center. He also enjoys spending time with their eight grandchildren, who live nearby on a small farm.
