This donation was given to us to help us pay our summer rent at the Fancy Frock since things are very slow there this time of year and we are currently backed up. It is a size 2 and in perfect shape. We realize the price is higher than what is normally found at our shop, but it is a couture gown, worn once on a pageant stage for a short time, and is in perfect shape. Its original price is much higher and it is out of stock on many sites. Please pass it onto any girls or pageant queens who may be interested! The sale of it helps our Worth More Nation ladies and ultimately the Miss Worth More Nation pageant of course. We don’t want to lose our shop. We set up a Poshmark site to help increase our Fancy Frock sales traffic and it is moving along. Thank you to our donor who gave us this amazing gown and other pageant competition items to help pay our rent. They will be listed on our site soon, so keep an eye out! Thank you to our model Etienne, as well. She is beautiful inside and out.

Our focus in everything we do at the Fancy Frock and Worth More Nation is to help girls and women feel empowered and confident, no matter who they are and what they have experienced in life. These little ladies were models for our Red White and Blue fashion show and were at the shop in Churchville a week before the show for a walking workshop and outfit fittings. Here’s the truth I have learned….it’s rare for a female to come into the shop and try on and to not start self shaming. No matter the age. We have a rule against that at the Fancy Frock. If I hear it, I ask you to then say three nice things about your appearance - not your character - but about your physical self. To foster confidence and self love. Some of these little ladies at the fitting were having a hard time even as preteens to celebrate their own beauty at the fitting, and there were some big feelings happening. One volunteer through patience and encouragement helped, and then Brandon Vick showed up on the scene, and took them on the streets of Churchville to do a mini shoot. Their smile says it all! Thank you Brandon for “seeing” and celebrating them and for these stunning photos. These ladies are our Worth More Nation queens, AND at tender young ages live with more challenges than I can share here. 💔 We are more than our hard stories, and we here at the Fancy Frock love to be part of making happy moments and memories!! Everyone who supports the shop are part of that too whether you shop with us or donate. Thank you to everyone who helped that day, and also to Mia Elena also for teaching these girlies how to strut the stage at our show!

It was the best day on Saturday at Churchville’s Summerfest where we showed our Red White and Blue Fashion Show and honored our community and country. Thank you to all of the volunteers and models. It was an amazing day!🇺🇸Fancy Frock will be back open for regular hours. Please support our shop so we can keep doing what we do serving the community! We always love it when Miss Mia comes to visit the shop! She is wearing one of our favorite shop items recently donated and proudly showing her scar as a liver cancer survivor! Come see Mia at our fashion show on August 15 in Churchville. She will be modeling this coat, and other things. She is such an inspiration!

Today was all about the RED WHITE and BLUE. We are honored to showcase some of our red white and blue Fancy Frock Closet fashions at the Churchville Summerfest Stars and Stripes 250. Thank you to Union Congregational United Church of Christ for hosting us today for our mini walking rehearsal! A very special thank you to Mia Elena for teaching our models walking technique, and how to be awesome on stage. Also, a very special thank you to Cheryl Valvano - vice president of the Churchville Riga Chamber of Commerce and event organizer for hosting us at the church and for making it so special for our group with treats and refreshments, and for setting up our stage and ensuring we have what we need to be successful on show day! Wait until you see the fashions 🇺🇸 I’m super proud of our team and what we have put together. I’m also so proud of all the models - many who will be modeling for the first time ever. Hope to see you there! We go on at 1:15 on August 15 at 46 Park Road in Churchville. This is sponsored by the Greater Churchville Riga Chamber of Commerce.
