Holy crap y’all.

What an evening! HUGE shout out to Kelsi Leigh Arnold / Trash Market PC and Panama City Center for the Arts for working tirelessly and providing the canvas.

I want to tag every single artist, vendor, model, and small business but that would take me too long because there were SO MANY. Please feel free to tag you and/or your favorites in the comments.

The energy was amazing.
The attendees were amazing.
The ART was amazing!

I left not getting to congratulate every designer, but please know that I was in total awe of each and every one of your creations and how those models absolutely ROCKED them.

From scraps to badass snaps 🫰

A while back I got with Salty Bear Leather and nabbed a CRAP TON of their leather scraps.

I’ve been able to create a few unique hand-burned framed pieces with them, but I’m now in a position to turn out more than that and I’m so excited!

I did run into some issues with my machine, unfortunately, BUT I was able to get a few of these useful snaps ready for y’all and tonight’s event 😃

I was commissioned to make funky this gorgeous Hobo red leather clutch. The person who asked this of me has similar taste, but tends to lean a little more modern and contemporary.

In that lies the challenge.

I didn’t exactly want to give her more of the same of what I do - it just felt like it wouldn’t truly fit her personality [even though she has been a huge fan of my work from the start 😘 ]

If you’ve had something commissioned by me, you know I’m the WORST at getting things done in a timely manner without a deadline.

But I’m kinda glad I took so long on this one, because I finally had the eureka moment I needed to proceed…

Keep it simple.
Confidently feminine.
Cross the lines.
Deconstruct the usual.

I’m absolutely in love with how it turned out. Did it feel uncomfortable crossing the lines? You bet your ass. But just goes to show stepping outside of your comfort zone can be a beautiful thing 😊
