☀️🎶 Calling All Praise & Worship Leaders & Teams! 🎶☀️

One thing God has continually placed on our hearts for Eliora is that we would be more than just a store. We desire for this space to be a place where people can encounter hope, encouragement, community, and the love of Jesus.

This summer, we are exploring the opportunity to host a weekly worship collaboration and are looking for local praise and worship leaders or teams who may be interested in partnering with us.

Whether you lead a full worship team, serve as an acoustic worship leader, or are part of a ministry that loves bringing people together in worship, we’d love to connect and hear your heart.

Our vision is simple: to create opportunities for our community to gather, worship, and reflect His light together.🪩🙏🏽

If you or your church worship team might be interested, please reach out to us at [email protected] or send us a message.

We may not know exactly what this will look like yet, but we’re excited to see where God leads. 🤍

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” — Psalm 150:6

Social Media take over😎😃-Josh T

Something that’s been on my heart lately is how much men need encouragement, strength, and truth in the season they’re in. So many men are carrying pressure, responsibility, temptation, questions, battles, and burdens that nobody else sees.

That’s why I wanted to highlight some of the men’s devotionals, prayer books, and Scripture resources we have here at Eliora.

These aren’t just books to sit on a shelf. They’re tools to help men grow in faith, lead with courage, strengthen their walk with God, and be reminded that they don’t have to fight life’s battles alone.

Whether you’re a husband, father, son, brother, leader, friend, or a man simply trying to become who God created you to be — there is strength available for you. Not just worldly strength. Godly strength. The kind that builds character, restores hope, renews the mind, and helps you stand firm when life gets heavy.

At Eliora, we believe this store is more than just a store. It’s a place of light, encouragement, and meaning. A place where people can come in, find something that speaks to their season, and be reminded that God is still present, still speaking, and still calling them deeper.

Come check out our men’s section. You never know what one devotional, one prayer, or one Scripture might awaken in your heart.

Men of God are not called to just survive — they are called to be strengthened, equipped, and transformed. We hope you can find that at Eliora.

Tonight’s Jackson Sidewalk Market feels a little bittersweet for me.

Many of you may not know that the Sidewalk Market holds a special place in my heart. Spring of 2023, when I had my first storefront in downtown Jackson, I sat down over coffee with Josie and shared a dream of creating something that would bring people downtown, support small businesses, and give our community a place to gather. What started as a conversation became something so much bigger than either of us imagined that day!

While Rob and I feel called to devote our time and energy to Eliora in Chillicothe right now, we haven’t forgotten Jackson or the roots that helped shape this journey. In fact, our space inside Ellie Mills Mercantile is slowly transforming and growing into a small extension of Eliora, bringing a little piece of what we’re building in Chillicothe back home.

If you’re out tonight, I hope you’ll stop by the Sidewalk Market—not just to support us, but to support all of the incredible small businesses that make events like this possible. Small businesses survive because of the people who choose to shop local, and in return, those businesses become part of the fabric of a community, supporting local causes, local families, and the places we all call home.

Thank you, Jackson, for being part of our story. And thank you for continuing to show up for the dreamers, the makers, and the small business owners who pour their hearts into what they do every day. ❤️

From the moment we unlocked the doors this morning, there was a quiet sense that God was at work in ways we couldn’t see. Not every meaningful day comes with packed aisles or record sales. Sometimes it comes through the people who walk through the door carrying heavy hearts and leave a little lighter than when they arrived.

If I’m being honest, sales were pretty slow today, but if I measure the day by the conversations we had, it was incredibly full!

A customer shared something with us at checkout that I don’t think I’ll ever forget. She told us she struggles with feeling peace in her life, but from the moment she walked inside the store she knew it was being led with God’s direction because she felt peace. I watched her eyes nearly fill with tears when she reiterated that peace isn’t something she feels often. 🥺 Please know that you were heavy on my heart and mind and we are praying for peace to be something you feel in your life often!🤍

Later, another woman came in, not to shop, but simply because she needed help. Before she left, she asked if we would pray for her and others. I assisted her with writing prayer requests for the prayer room, but then we prayed together before she left. I’d be lying to you if I said I didn’t shed a few tears after she left when I was hanging her tags. 🙏🏽

Of course sales matter. They keep the lights on, pay our employees, and allow us to keep serving this community- but truthfully, moments like these are the reason Rob and I said “yes” when God placed this dream on our hearts.

Eliora WAS NEVER AND IS NEVER just about books, gifts, apparel, or having a storefront. It’s always been about creating a space where people feel welcomed, encouraged, and reminded that they are loved by our Father- NEVER FORGOTTEN!🤍

Tonight my prayer is simple: Lord, keep using us. Keep using this little store. Let every conversation, every prayer, every smile, and every interaction point back to You.

If even one person leaves with more peace than they walked in with, then I’d call that a good day.🪩

🌿 It’s hard to believe we’re already over a month into this journey.

When we opened Eliora, our prayer was simple: that it would be more than a store. We wanted it to be a place where people could find encouragement, meaningful gifts, and reminders of God’s love in the middle of everyday life.

One thing we’ve learned is that many people still think of us as “the bookstore”—and while we absolutely love our books, Bibles, and devotionals, there’s so much more to discover inside our walls.

From baby gifts and keepsakes to home décor, kitchen items, blankets, tumblers, journals, prayer cloths, apparel, and thoughtful gifts for every season of life, we’ve worked hard to create a space filled with items that inspire, encourage, and bless.

And now for the exciting part…

Next week, Rob and I will be heading to the Atlanta Market to personally shop for brand-new inventory for Eliora. We can’t wait to bring back fresh finds, unique products, and new collections that we believe you’ll love.

To help us prepare for everything that’s coming, we’re offering:

✨ 20% OFF ALL GIFTS & APPAREL ✨

Now is the perfect time to grab that item you’ve been eyeing, stock up on gifts, or treat yourself while helping us make room for what’s ahead.

As always, thank you for supporting this little dream God placed on our hearts. Every purchase, every prayer, every kind word, and every person who walks through our doors means more than you know.

We’d love to see you this week. 💚

— Rob & Kayla

P.S. If you’ve been in recently, tell us what section of the store you always find yourself browsing first. We’d love to hear! ✨

Last Sunday, we shared a glimpse of this wall( it’s completely covered now but I forgot to take a picture) and I wanted to take a moment to share the heart behind it.

When we purchased the inventory from Praises, there were some books with damaged pages that simply weren’t in a condition to place back on the shelves. As we sorted through them, I couldn’t bring myself to throw them away. The pages were damaged, but the words they carried still held value. They were still part of a story.

So we carefully disassembled some of those books and used the pages as the foundation of this piece.

Over the month of May, God has continually laid one message on my heart: damage does not determine worth.

For a long time, that was a lesson I struggled to learn myself. I spent years placing my value in the hands of people and their opinions of me. It took a long time to understand that my worth was never theirs to define. My value comes from my Heavenly Father, and He sees me—and each of us—as precious beyond measure.

Over the last couple of years, I’ve also become more comfortable sharing parts of my own testimony. There was a time when I carried a lot of shame about pieces of my story. I wanted to hide them. But through conversations with others, I’ve realized how powerful it can be when we allow God to use our stories to encourage someone else. The very things we wish we could erase are often the things God uses to remind another person they are not alone.

That’s where the next part of this wall comes in.

We would love to fill this space with testimonies from real people—stories of God’s faithfulness, redemption, healing, provision, restoration, or simply moments where He met you right where you were.

If you feel comfortable sharing your testimony, whether signed with your name or anonymously, we would be honored to include it on our front wall so others can read it and perhaps hear God speaking through your story.

“Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what He has done for my soul.” — Psalm 66:16

To help us fit as many stories as possible, please keep testimonies to about one page or less. Your testimony can be a detailed story or something as simple as, “God delivered me from…” or “God provided when…”—whatever you feel led to share.

You can comment your testimony below or email it to us at [email protected].

Because every page matters.
Every story matters.
Every person matters to God.
