We carry all genres of books for a wide variety of interests. Fiction categories include general fiction, mystery, romance, paranormal, science fiction/fantasy, western,christian and horror. Nonfiction includes (but is not limited to) military and history, christian, cookbooks, gardening, science, animal care, politics and new age. We carry many children's books as well as young adult with current

titles and popular authors. There is a special classics section as well as rare/old books.We have a Florida section that contains both non-fiction and fiction books and a Large print section. If you can't find what you are looking for in our littlest bookstore, we will do our best to find it for you...just ask to be put into our request book. We welcome input on how we can serve you better so please feel free to make suggestions. For the summer months, we will only be open 4 days a week as summer business slows down tremendously and we need the extra day to do things at home that we put off the rest of the year.

We have a hodgepodge of books today! Finished up going thru the boxes that were in my kitchen (yep...haven't even started on my shed or the storage unit yet) and these treasures were unearthed. Cookbooks (lots of hometown type cookbooks), non-fiction (a lot of Russian non- fiction, a few war, thesaurus and other random books), and a few fiction. All books are ONLY $1! We need to make room for the hundreds of boxes still left to go thru. No cheaper books anywhere and no bigger selection! I'm going to try to get some of the kids books listed tomorrow to keep your little ones reading thru the summer.

Remember all books (unless otherwise noted) are $1..hardback or paperback. You will have to pick up at our house unless you want them shipped (shipping rates apply). I can meet you or deliver if I'm going that way but obviously, I'm not spending $5+ in gas to make a special trip for a $1 book. No bigger or better selection anywhere...we literally have thousands of books boxed up so every box is a surprise with its hidden treasures inside!

Cheapest books anywhere and the largest selection (or there will be one of these says when we can get thru everything..lol). Since we no longer have our brick and mortar store, all of our books will be posted here on our page and will need to be picked up at our home. There is a possibility of meeting you in Chiefland and/or delivery to your door if we are going that way. We can ship also but shipping charges will be added to the price.

So..we will be posting our books here on our FB page since going online (so far) has proven much more difficult than we originally anticipated. Mostly it's because of the computers we have and their inability to want to work with the programs we are trying to use to list and upload pics. I am going to be clearing out boxes that are still stacked in my kitchen from February (going thru those first) and posting batches of books here. All books are only $1 as I have so many and I really need to clear them out for space. We have a whole shed full and a storage unit also packed to the front doors! I am unable to search for specific books for that reason...there is absolutely no way to get to them without going box by box. I will be working on boxes as I get free time and maybe, with any luck, I can get a bit more organized and eventually can take requests. Because we are selling these books for only $1, we won't be utilizing trade credit at this time. You will need to pick up your books at my house (PM for address) or I may be able to deliver or meet you in Chiefland but that would be dependent on 1. The number of books you buy (I can't deliver $1 book if it will cost me $5 in gas to do so) and 2. If I'm in the area anyway, ill be happy to drop them off to your door or meet you. I could ship also but shipping costs would be added to total cost. I will be trying to post here regularly so like our page, if you haven't done so already, and tell all of your reader friends to do the same. No better deals on your favorite books anywhere!
Just a side note..these books are only a drop in the bucket of what we have in boxes so if you don't see your authors or books, don't worry...I'm sure we have them...somewhere!!

Just a quick update on what we spent last week doing. We dumpster dived for boxes to pack up the massive amounts of books, we took down all of our bookshelves and moved the books into our shed at home AND our storage unit. Both are slam full plus we also filled up another shed at our house with the bookcases that didn't fall apart after years of use. The sheer numbers of boxes and books! A HUGE thank you to my husband, Thomas Kish and my two sons, Kyle Armlin and Zachary Armlin! I could never have moved all of those boxes by myself or gotten the store packed up as quickly as we did without you all! Thank you to the weather for being beautiful and a huge thank you to my friends, Leslie & Robert, for getting us a website created. The website is

Right now, you can just preview the site but there aren't any books on it yet. I feel very blessed to have had so many people stop in to see us and buy a few of the books before we packed them up and for everyone who helped make it all happen! Keep watching our page as we update our progress to get our online shop up. For locals, we will be able to meet you in town or deliver your books or you will also be welcome to come out to our home and pick up/purchase once we get the books out of the boxes. We obviously won't be able to get them all out since our space is much smaller than the store on Main Street but we will do our best to still have a great selection available to you. Hi Everyone! We may have to close tomorrow since school is closed for "wintery weather" and I am just getting over the last few days of being sick. We also can't move the trailer in the rain/wet so we are kindof stuck with our progress. This is totally terrible timing since we need every single day we have left to pack up this store but in case you planned on coming tomorrow, you may need to wait until Thursday. Just a heads up..this whole week looks like it's going to be cold so dress warm if you plan to visit us this week!

If anyone has any boxes, we could certainly use them! Need boxes that will hold hardback books but any are welcome...we will make them work! Excuse our huge mess as we box and shift things around in here. This is a massive undertaking to get them out by Feb 10th. You can still shop but we are boxing up so we can't guarantee everything will still be on the shelves. However, if you can help us out by taking a few off our hands, that's a few less we need to worry about!

We just got bad news stuck in our door this morning...our landlord is terminating our lease here and we have to be out by Feb 10th! If anyone wants to buy the lot of books, make us an offer. We are looking for another building but we only have 1 month to do so and there's not much out there that's affordable. We will have to start boxing up everything to ensure we have time to get it all out. Come grab your books while we are still here...make offers and help us clear out the overwhelming amount we have accumulated over the last 12+ years. Trade credit will continue at the regular 50 % off as long as we are here so use it up while you can (in case we can't find another place to set up shop).

Looks like this weather is throwing a wrench in us being there today. It's just too cold and with no heat, it's extremely uncomfortable for us and for you. It looks like it should be warming up tomorrow and Saturday so we do plan to be there Friday and Saturday, as of right now. Praying for a bit warmer temps in the coming weeks so we can get back to a consistent schedule.
