I had just finished up this floating box last week and went into my workshop to start my next project and SNAP!!!!! ( very loudly that I jumped), and my brand new blade with less than an hour of cutting time with it, it broke. $35 down the drain. I've contacted the supplier and hopefully they'll replace it.

I was just recently notified that the goimagine.com shops (which includes my website) will be closing this month due to the hosts not being able to sustain the site since they weren't able to reach their goal of 12,000 artisan sellers.
Kudos for trying to become a true online shopping place where people could buy strictly handmade items from artisans in the USA.
Keep supporting your local artisans and crafters. Be careful of Etsy because a lot of items sold there are mass produced in other countries. Do your research. There are other smaller sites out there who only sell handmade items.

New production has been going a little slow since the holidays ( too cold to work in the shop and a few weeks without electricity) but my shelves are stocked and I'm slowly working on some new creations.

Mark Your Calendars! November 22nd Wilbraham Senior Center Holiday Bazaar is happening from 9am - 3pm. I'll be there with a variety of wood crafts for your holiday shopping needs, from small stocking stuffer items to heirloom pieces. The Senior Center is located on 250 Springfield Street, Wilbraham, MA behind the Town Hall. Lots of crafters, food and baked goods and a HUGE Raffle!

I've got a few new boxes in the works for an upcoming craft fair in November. I'll be at the Friend's of Wilbraham Senior's Annual Holiday Fair on November 22nd from 9-3. It's located at the new Senior Center at 250 Springfield Street behind the Wilbraham Town Hall. Mark your calendars!

Stocked my shelving unit today at Elm Art and Antiques. They are going to be open tomorrow (Saturday) from 10-4 during Westfield's Artoberfest for people to come in and shop. From what I hear, Elm St and the surrounding area will be lined with crafters and artists showcasing their talent and selling.
If you get a chance, check it out. I'll be hanging at the store , 30 Elm St, for a bit and checking out the local talent.

Coming soon, I will have some of my creations for sale at the new Elm Art and Antiques store on Elm Street in Westfield. They rehabbed an old bank to open it up as an arts center.

Day Two of the Mattoon Arts Festival: My tent survived the storm from yesterday although some others were not so lucky. I have a couple of water drips going on in my tent so I had to do a little rearranging but it works.
Please send positive vibes that the rain will stop soon and the people will come out for the last day. There are a few brave soles from the neighborhood already walking around with umbrellas. Please stop by today if you can. Open until 4 pm.
