The primary Hebrew term for gratitude is Hakarat HaTov (讛址讻指旨专址转 讛址讟旨讜止讘), which translates to "recognizing the good." This concept focuses on the mindfulness of seeing, acknowledging, and appreciating the positive aspects of life and the people around you.

Luke 7:11-15 KJV
[11] And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. [12] Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. [13] And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. [14] And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. [15] And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

----------------------------------------------
Jesus recognized the suffering of this woman & couldn't pass her by. He knew she was already a widow & she was about to bury her only son. He was already in the casket. She thought it was over.

Jesus touched the casket & spoke to the young man & told him to get up. He sat up & began to speak.

What a powerful miracle to witness & to be that young man or to be that mother & to have her son back... I can't imagine what they were feeling, but I know there had to be many overwhelming emotions.

Bad things may have happened to you. You may even be going through something right now, but the Lord knows when enough is enough. He knows what you can handle & He knows what you're capable of.

Your trials make you stronger & what you're going through now may feel like it's going to destroy you, BUT be of good cheer, Jesus has overcome the world!

You are going to make it because you are more than a conqueror! Greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.

We serve a loving God & He is full of mercy, grace & compassion for His children.

This evening at Prayer Meeting, a thought came to mind---

"If i always knew what God was up to, it wouldn't be faith."

I have to remind myself that I don't always have to know what God is up to. He's always good & He's always working things out for my good. I have no reason to fear or worry.

Maybe you need a reminder today, too. No matter what your situation looks like, He is in control.

Everything we go through only makes our faith stronger.

James 1:2-4 NLT
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

鉂擄笍Question of the day鉂擄笍
Should I take my children to church & allow them to be apart of the worship service?

During praise & worship, my 4 year old asked his big sister if he could go to the altar & pray. She told him yes, of course.

The past several Sunday's my son has acted pretty wild during praise & worship. With my husband & I both helping lead praise & worship, we depend on & appreciate our daughter & church family to keep him on the straight & narrow馃檭

This morning, finally realizing that is was my son at the altar (many church members gathered around to pray for him so it was difficult to see who it was), i could spiritually see the fruit that had been growing on his little tree.

Are there times where I want to whisk him away because of his disruptive behavior?

There have definitely been times where I have whisked him away because of his disruptive behavior & had to remind him the options he has during the worship service.

Sometimes of course, that goes in one ear & out the other.

To some, children may be an annoyance, but a church that has children running around & even crying & screaming...well, I hear a church that is alive & one that is full of hope & opportunities.

Our babies are the future!

Take your children to church, no matter how difficult the morning starts. Take them anyway.

Your child may be the next praise & worship leader, the next missionary, the next Sunday school teacher or maybe even the next pastor.

Does your church have altars?

04/16/2026

While scrolling through reels today, I came across a video that asked the question-

"Based off our outfits, what church do we attend?"

I know that everyone's into tik tok trends & there was nothing bad about the video.

But a thought came to mind...

Do people know that we love Jesus when they see us or when they have any kind of interaction with us for any length of time?

I'm all for dressing modestly, but how do we treat people? Do we show the fruits of the Spirit everywhere we go & not just in church & while wearing our Sunday best?

I know noone ASKED me for my opinion lol but I thought this was a good question to share.

Have a beautiful evening, friends! 馃檪

Did you know that you have power over the enemy?

You don't have to live defeated or discouraged. You need to know how BIG your God is!

But how can you know if you aren't reading the Word?

Every answer you will ever need is found in the Word of God. How is that? Because He is the Word! Everything you will ever need is only found in Jesus!

Open your word. He will speak to you & He wants to speak to you, but you must be willing to hear.
