It the last day of our sidewalk sale and this one’s final hurrah. He’s always rocked the block on sidewalk sale weekend, here in 2019.

What time is it? Well, it’s 8:30 at night and I’m still at the shop, stickering things like a crazy person.

We’ll be slinging $3, $10, $25 & $50, deals inside and outside, all weekend long. Coupled with the , our legendary sidewalk sale is one of the most fun weekends within our Bucktown blocks.

Doors open at 10 Saturday and Sunday and close at 6. Go easy on us because we are not morning people. By we, I mean my kid, and this will be Miller’s last hurrah before we take him to school on Monday. We’ll be closed 8/27 through 8/30 so I can cry.

🚨 LEGENDARY SIDEWALK SALE 🚨 This weekend, we’ll be joining forces with our neighboring small businesses for an end of season sale. Coinciding with the return of the Bucktown Artsfest, you’ll find steals and deals throughout the Damen Promenade.

It’s the end of season for some, the beginning of a new school year for others. This is one of the most fun weekends in all of Bucktown’s blocks. Our neighbors will join in the fun for their sidewalk sales on Saturday only. Virtu’s sale will run the entire weekend during special hours of 10 to 6 each day. Here’s hoping the rain stays away and temps stay south of the 90º mark.

For our sidewalk sale, expect to find steep - and I do mean steep - discounts on all sorts of gifts, candles, and paper goods. Basically, it’s a year’s worth of sales squeezed into one weekend and everything is color coded. You’ll find last of their kind and limited collections at truly a fraction of their cost. For starters:

- $3 discontinued cards
- $25 + $50 discontinued jewelry
- $25 bags of ten curated cards
- 50% off a selection of fine jewelry

It’s a big weekend here, personally at Virtu as this will be Miller’s last hurrah. Come on by and say hi before we drop him off at school.

Shelly Klein of beloved k studio made these for us and I’ve got one of each on hand for now. Who will be the lucky freshman propping themselves up on this instead of a hideous sherpa wedge pillow? (Sorry if you just bought one of those on prime.)

We all have choices of where to spend our hard earned dollars and even I sometimes have to choose the big box. Can someone PLEASE tell me where I can buy a mattress topper by shopping small?

Well, I am just bee-yond grateful for all of you who popped by this weekend for our Garden Walk, sidewalk sale, and Sip & Stroll. So many new faces and neighbors and friends were met on hot and hazy days.

To my dear ones who helped me pull off this weekend’s successes, it is because of you that I’m still standing. Currently, Virtu is without employees. Count yourself lucky if you have people in your life like Joan, Jenny, Liv & Myrna, Marice, Sullivan, Laura, Sue, and Christine.

It takes a village to keep this friendly neighborhood shop running and my buds always say yes when I call.

Grateful just doesn’t seem to cover it, I love you so much. and we’ll be open all week long for your summertime finds. 🐝🐝🐝
