I never wanted kids. I never wanted commitment either. Family never felt like something I was built for. Everybody who was supposed to love me made me feel left, used, or in the way, and I never wanted to ruin a child the way that I had been. So, when Ava came back from Thailand pregnant with my baby and four months too far along, my whole world came apart at the seams.

What up, doe?

I don’t know why Jessica chose for my story to be this damn messy. My homies got these picture-perfect love stories, and mine starts with Ava poppin’ back up from Thailand after four months, carrying my child but hiding it from everybody, including me.

This s**t goofy as hell but it is what it is.

I get why she hid it. Everybody knows I don’t do commitment, I don’t do family, and I damn sure don’t do kids. I’ve always been married to the streets. I don’t even know what love is, so when I crossed that line with Ava, I was low-key relieved when she left for the summer because I knew I couldn’t give her what she deserved. Now she’s back, pregnant with my baby, and I’m stuck resenting a woman who lives in my head and under my skin, no matter how hard I try to shake her.

And if that wasn’t enough, I found out about the baby right after I learned Sienna’s been working with the Feds the whole time she’s been under me. So you already know everything went left QUICK!

This ain’t no pretty love story. But it’s real, and it’s ours.

I hope y’all ready for me and Ava’s story because Reeking Havoc is the final chapter of The Cartier Cartel. After this, Jessica’s stepping into a whole new era with the Street Kings, so if you ain’t caught up on this family yet, now would be the time.
