We tend to steer our attention towards our physique 100% and lose sight of balance in our lives and selves. Bodybuilding is a selfish sport, one needs to isolate themselves completely and pursuit a completely different lifestyle to achieve a certain physique. This in essence tips off our balance in life especially our mental well-being. We get so lost in this cloud of being the biggest, strongest, and leanest that we lose sight of the bigger picture, our overall health. Are most of us living a true healthy lifestyle? Our relationships, our work, our mentality, everything around us. Sometimes we need to take a step back and work to develop this balance. So when everything aligns we can feel healthy, feel accomplished. If we can learn to achieve our physique goals with consistent balance, then that is just the icing on the cake.
