Sprout Home believes that a modern aesthetic can live in both the home and garden. Our brick and mortar stores were created to bring about a fresh concept to the home garden center – by bridging design and flora. Sprout Home opened its doors in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago, IL in 2003 and its second store in Williamsburg Brooklyn NY in 2007. Founder Tara Heibel operates the Chicago store

, while partner Tassy de Give heads up the Brooklyn home front. Sprout Home offers a full landscape design service, specializing in contemporary garden design and rooftop/deck container gardening. We’re happy to work with designers, both local and abroad, to offer our product lines that are both functional and beautiful. We offer products and plants that any urban gardener would desire, along with our hand-picked home goods. Come in for our ground basics, check out our tools and accessories and stay for our must-have plants for your garden or windowsill. Each store also boasts a lush floral design department, offering fresh cut flowers and special occasion bouquets for your wedding or event. Along side floral, we construct custom terrariums of many shapes, styles and sizes. We design our terrariums based on your specific light requirements insuring a long and successful life with proper care. Sprout Home has a door to door delivery service for floral, terrariums, and potted plants.

Before, during and after for this gorgeous potted tree ✨ We paired this lovely Radermachera with a modern, terra cotta, low bowl to give it a minimalist aesthetic. We been having a lot of fun experimenting with large form “bonsai” style plantings and we’re loving the results.

We have lots of beautiful low bowl style planters and we’d love to pot something for you!

Humble Design Chicago serves individuals, families, and veterans emerging from homelessness by transforming empty houses into warm, welcoming, and fully furnished homes. We believe that a home is more than shelter—it is a foundation for hope, dignity, stability, and a fresh start. By thoughtfully designing and furnishing homes at no cost to our clients, we help ensure that those transitioning out of homelessness have the support they need to remain housed and thrive.

Everyone loves and we just got some new styles in the shop! The beautiful sapphire and sandstone glazes elevate the modern terra cotta Hoff planter. The Pantheon pot offers a bold design that can stand on its own or bring interest to a standard terra cotta collection. The Modena pots simple design and straight sided shape can be planted directly or used as a decorative cache pot for a plastic liner.
