The Promontory is permanently closing December 31, 2025. Hyde Park Handmade plans to continue in 2026.

We're getting a lot of last-minute requests for available spaces for Sunday's Dec 21, 2025 * Hyde Park Handmade Artisan Bazaar market. Facebook and Instagram are not sending our application links via the messaging option so we're posting it here:
Hyde Park Handmade is a monthly curated market featuring craft, fashion, and food makers from Chicago's south side. The event is held in the Promontory's second floor lounge at 5311 S. Lake Park West (behind the Akira).
Interested in becoming a vendor? We require an application to be filled out for vendor consideration.
Applications are required to be considered by the jury - even if you've done the market in the past. The "early bird" December 21, 2025 market application deadline has expired. We are still considering vendors and the application can be found at https://forms.gle/jcRBNH7AAH6vGdwb8
Late applications will be considered and a $25 late fee will be applied to the $75 vendor fee if accepted ($100 total).
Mini/ newbie vendor 3' wide by 5' deep spaces will be available for $40 with a $10 late fee ($50 total).
Please note: the December market will be our last with the Promontory as they are closing December 31, 2025. We are looking for a replacement venue to continue the market into 2026.
