Happy Beltane! We're on the brighter side of the thin veil but that doesn't make things any less spooky! Especially after all the nonsense that the Scorpio full moon dredged up with it! We had a ritual in the shop to welcome all the mischievous spirits coming through, break harmful enchantments, and draw in a little extra prosperity for us and the fairy folks while we were at it.
We were doing a lot and at no point want that not obvious. But it was also a lot of fun to crown the new King and Queen of May, set some fires, and be whimsical as fuuuuudge.

We have a new course at Malliway's Academy all about working with energy and harnessing our spirits as a magical tool. Our first class went over great! I'm super glad to have such a good group to work through it with. We had a few exercises on power raising and feeling our own spirits before sorting everyone into their disciplines for the course.
So excited for round two next week!

Love spells have been popular lately! This one replaces the core of an apple with the taglocks of the lovers and a stone found between the graves of a married couple. These are then bound with searing hot nails and the apple is dried. Once done, the querent will eat the seeds and the deal is sealed! It can be super messy magic but that doesn't keep it from being fun to cast.

If you've been to our shop, you might have noticed our cabinets quietly filled with watchful dolls. These are items that people have brought to us over the years that for one reason or another have retained a spectral aura or cause strange happenstances within their lingering presence. We happily have taken these on either as stewards of the spirit world or gluttons for punishment.
Now we are putting a call out to any of you who feel like you have been saddled with haunted items yourself! We want to give them a home and try to understand them better. If you have a haunted doll or item that you would like to donate, we're happy to adopt them into our haunted orphanage! Just come to our shop with the item. If you have a written account of your experiences with it, then even better!
