Introducing my latest venture

The Electric ⚡ Banjo 🪕 Factory 🏭

Looking for artists and marketing personnel to help craft some logos and copy

All my life I have wanted to own a factory downtown like Bart in "Homers Enemy" ie the Frank "grimey (as he liked to be called) Grimes.

I love doing repairs but found a lot of what I enjoy are creating electric ⚡ instruments from acoustic or from parts.

The last slide is a meme by buddy ._juarez made that tickled me silly. He has always known of this love of factories and we worked together in the incredible Lemp brewery making a tiny home.

I've admired factories and logistics of large scale operations for a long time and finally decided to start this specialty company underneath the Sundlof Musical Engineering umbrella to help distinguish more of our specialties. And diversify our mutual funds. Are you still reading? Graffiti is the voice of the people

This was spotted outside my brand New Office in the West loop overlooking the amazing city of Chicago. I have started my second week as Head of Division and Sales.

For those of you who know me or patronized my repair business I might have mentioned this aspiration to hopefully have it come to fruition.

As I start my second week here my brain cannot stop from getting excited about the future with them. It took many years of knocking on the door.

I wanted to work with the Oldest music manufacturer in Chicago and Second in the world behind !

Just finished this fun project for my good friend and neighbor

What we have here is a Robinsons banjo Manufactured by Gad Robinson in Boston. This is a great example of an open back banjo with hardy metal work in the drum and tone ring. This received a new calfskin head and sourced some original tuning keys via Smakula fretted instruments. 😉

This week I started a new job after two years of trying to figure out the next step in life. I can’t thank you all enough for your help in referrals for repairs or giving me your projects to help me bridge the gap of my next adventure into the international world of musical instruments, stay tuned for more! I will be accepting repairs but my schedule has changed so just reach out if you are in need.

New pickup installation for stereo sound. A rail pickup combined with a piezo pickup split for effects on the electromagnetic pickup and pure sound on the piezo. This is the best method for playing large venues where you might be at the will of the sound technician giving them the best possible sonic source to mix with minimal feed back issues.
