Our final spotlight...Antoinae Goodman!

Although Antoinae is fairly new to the acting scene, she has taken a liking to entertaining in all capacities throughout her lifetime. More specifically, as a singer/songwriter, Antoinae has had the opportunity to lean into her desire to entertain and perform in a way that has ultimately pushed her into the realm of acting.

This will be Antoinae’s debut with a production of this size. You can look forward to seeing Antoinae on many more stages, big screens and concerts in the very near future. You can see her as "Patra" in City Blues: An Urban Tale.

Today we shine our spotlight on Frank Lee!

Frank Lee III is a performer that simply loves to share his gifts with others, be it signing, acting, improv comedy or sharing the word of God. Frank’s love of performing comes from his family. With his dad (a pastor), his grandfather (singer/musician) and his mom (singer) there was really no way around it. Frank has been in the stage productions, “Love Intervention” (Stacey Clark) and as a lead in “The Mall Messiah” (GSW Network). Currently you can find Frank singing classic jams to crowds and at parties all over the Chicago land area! He'll star in the role of "Pastor Wright".

Cast Spotlight!
Today we shine our spotlight on Inglish India.
Inglish India was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. At a very early age, Inglish knew she wanted to be an actress. It wasn’t until 2019 when she officially began her career in a stage play entitled, “I need A Breakthrough”. Since then, Inglish has starred in a host of other plays and films. Inglish enjoys spending time with her loved ones, traveling, and most importantly laughing and creating beautiful memories. In the near future Inglish hopes to continue to pursue her dreams of becoming a renowned Writer, Director and Producer. Inglish is eager to continue writing HERstory! She will be starring in the role of "Taylor" in City Blues: An Urban Tale.

Today we shine our spotlight on Jasmine Sanders.

Jasmine Sanders is a city girl born and raised on the south side of Chicago. Jasmine has been featured in several TV series, such as Empire and Chicago PD. She has modeled for WGN News and won the 2014 Billboard modeling competition. This is her first professional acting project. She'll bring the role of "Brandy" to life in City Blues: An Urban Tale. We're excited to have her as a member of the cast.

Today we shine our spotlight on Bess Mangrum.

Bess Mangrum is a born-and-raised Chicago native who has a B.A. in Radio/TV Broadcasting from Chicago State University and an M.A.T. in Education from National-Louis University. She is a singer, writer, actress, voice actor, and brand ambassador. Most recent projects include, "Behold, a Pale House" movie (2023), "Blackbirds in a Storm" movie (2022), and "Mika Scrooge" stage play (2022). Bess is represented by Stavins Talent. Bess will star in the role of "Tara". We are excited to have her as a member of the cast sharing her diverse talent.

Today we shine our spotlight on Zavonte Stephens.

Zavonte Stephens is a Detroit, MI native who graduated from both the University of Michigan and Notre Dame. His previous work includes 219: The Series which is based in Gary, IN (2024). He also studies improv at Second City Chicago and performs at comedy
venues across the city. Zavonte will be starring in the role of "Justin" and we're excited to have him as a member of the cast.
