Taken exactly 2 months ago at my opening party! TWO whole months of existence on this little stretch of Belmont Ave has truly been a dream come true! I am so grateful to be surrounded by so many other awesome small businesses. Did you know that all of the herbal teas we carry here at Into the Feral are made here in house by yours truly, Nicole aka ? 😊🍵✨ Working with herbs and blending tea feels like my heart’s work in the world. It’s been a way for me to connect and reconnect with both the plant world and with my sense of self. I have an ever growing collection of what I call “tarot inspired teas”. Each blend is inspired by a tarot card. I look to the human experience shown in the tarot card and then thoughtfully select herbs that actually support that experience.
It is absolutely not a prerequisite to know or love tarot to drink my tea. I am ALWAYS open to chat about the blends, the card, the whole why for! My hope is that my tea will help foster a moment of pause and mindfulness to find the magic that is found within a cup of tea.

My herbal teas are all non caffeinated and are blended love and intention using herbs sourced from small American farms. 🌿🫖✨

Allow me to welcome you 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥! This little Chicago storefront, owned and operated by Nicole of , is soon to be a magical oasis tucked within the Avondale neighborhood where you can find home goods, apothecary items (Feral loose leaf herbal tea of course) and SO MANY treasures!

At 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 we believe that our homes are a sacred space. We believe our dwellings are defined by the energies of those who live within them and the things we surround ourselves with. It’s a place to call our own, a place that serves as an expression and extension of ourselves that can offer stability and grounding.

Within the walls of 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 you’ll find an eclectic mix. If you know Nicole at all, you know she’s a bit of a walking juxtaposition… both feral and fancy! Why be one when you can be BOTH?! In this space you’ll find a curated collection of just that… feral AND fancy! Handcrafted herbal items, creations of local artists and small makers, as well as a collection of new and vintage homewares.
