Clients visiting from Arizona stopped in, and we showed them a similar rug in other colors. They loved the design and chose their own color from our box of 400 shades.

This 9' x 12' rug is made of soft Tencel and was made in Varanasi, India. It took four months to make, and now it anchors their living room. They loved it so much they shared these photos with us.

3 ways to tell a hand-knotted rug from a machine-made one.

1. Flip it over. In a hand-knotted rug the pattern on the back is as clear as the front.
2. Check the fringe. It should be part of the rug itself, not sewn on.
3. Look for small irregularities. Slight variations in the knots and color are the mark of a human hand.
