I am a natural *mate* gourd birdhouse — grown under the intense sun of Northern Peru (Piura, Lambayeque, La Libertad) and transformed in the Andes and artisan communities in the suburbs of Lima.
🌱 My Second Life: A True Upcycle
After harvest, I’m dried naturally under the sun. Then Peruvian artisans — using techniques passed down for generations — give me shape, color, and purpose:

I become a one‑of‑a‑kind birdhouse, ready to welcome feathered friends who build their nests inside me. Every curve, size, and design is unique — no two gourds are ever the same.
