🐾🚚 Moving Week – Day 7

After a week of trucks, shelving, pallet racks, HVAC units, packing supplies, and countless hours of work, there was one very important inspection still to be completed.

Chicken the Greyhound has officially returned to the office.

After carefully patrolling the inventory room, checking the warehouse, supervising the shipping department, and making sure everyone was staying on task, we’re happy to report that the new facility has earned her approval.

Needless to say, she’s settling in quite nicely.

While Moving Week may be coming to an end, our work certainly isn’t. There’s still plenty left to unpack, organize, and improve, and we’ll continue sharing photos and updates next week as the new space continues to come together.

Thank you all for following along during this exciting chapter in the history of ReSourced Rails. Your support, encouragement, and patience throughout this move have meant the world to us.

We’re excited about what the future holds, and we can’t wait to continue serving the model railroad community from our new home for many years to come.

🚚📦 Moving Week – Day 6

Mission almost accomplished.

One of the largest pieces to come together in our new home has been the shipping department—the place where thousands of models begin their journeys to collectors and model railroaders around the world.

After a week of moving trucks, shelving, and countless hours of work, we’re excited to announce that ReSourced Rails is officially back open and shipping orders once again!

Normal shipping operations have resumed, and we’re ready to get back to doing what we enjoy most: connecting great models with great homes.

Our new setup gives us more room for packing supplies, additional workspace, and the ability to continue growing while maintaining the level of care and service our customers have come to expect.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who has supported us during this move and for your patience while we hit the pause button for a few days. It has been an exhausting week, but seeing everything come together has made it all worthwhile.

And tomorrow, we’ll wrap up Moving Week with one final update and feature a very special four-legged member of the team who’s already making herself right at home. 🐾

🚚📦 Moving Week – Day 5

The warehouse is starting to look like home.

Today's progress focused on one of the most important parts of our operation—the warehouse itself. Over the past several days, we've been hard at work installing additional pallet racking and organizing the countless parts, tools, supplies, and inventory that keep ReSourced Rails running.

One of the biggest upgrades is the addition of more pallet racking (new to us, at least!), which will provide much-needed storage space and help us continue growing in the years ahead.

We're also getting the shop area back together, with the equipment and tools required to support our brass model train restoration efforts. Whether it's repairing damaged models, rebuilding mechanisms, or bringing treasured pieces back to life, having a dedicated workspace is an important part of what we do.

Seeing these shelves begin to fill again is a welcome sight. After spending the first half of the week tearing everything down, it's rewarding to finally start putting things back together.

There's still plenty to do, but every day we're making progress.

And tomorrow, we'll give you a look at our new shipping and packing setup—the area where thousands of models will begin their journeys to collectors and model railroaders around the world.

🚚📦 Moving Week – Day 4

Things are starting to come together!

Today has been all about building one of the most important areas in our new home—the inventory room that will house the brass models featured on our website.

After spending the first few days moving, cleaning, and making improvements, it's exciting to finally start putting together the spaces that will support the next chapter of ReSourced Rails. Shelving is going up, aisles are taking shape, and before long these racks will once again be filled with thousands of models waiting to find their next homes.

It's amazing to see empty rooms beginning to transform into something familiar.

There's still plenty of work ahead, but with each passing day, we're one step closer to reopening.

And tomorrow, we'll shift our attention to the warehouse area, where even more progress is being made behind the scenes. We can't wait to show you what we've been working on!

🚚📦 Moving Week – Day 3

Progress continues!

While the trucks and boxes may have taken center stage earlier this week, today has been all about investing in the future. One of the first major projects at our new home is replacing both rooftop HVAC units—just in time for summer.

These upgrades aren't the most glamorous part of a move, but they're an important investment in creating a better space for our team and ensuring the environment is right for the thousands of models and collectibles that pass through our doors each year.

It's exciting to see some heavy machinery at work and watch the transformation begin. There's still plenty to do, but we're making great progress.

And tomorrow, we'll start pulling back the curtain and showing off some of the new warehouse areas as things begin to take shape. We can't wait to share what we've been working on!

🚚📦 Moving Week – Day 2

Well, this is a sight we never expected to see.

After over six years of building ReSourced Rails, it took only about ten hours to tear it all down.

Today, the old space is all but empty. The shelves are gone, the aisles are quiet, and soon we'll be turning over the keys to the place that has served as home to our business for the past several years.

It's a little bittersweet, if we're being honest. So much has happened within these walls. Countless brass drops, thousands of models shipped, friendships made, and a business that grew far beyond what we ever imagined when we first opened our doors in 2020.

One of the final things we did before leaving was add a final date to a beam marking that commemorated our expansion into the adjoining space back in March 2024. It seemed fitting to note the end of that chapter as well.

While it's sad to say goodbye, the story of ReSourced Rails is far from over.

Tomorrow, we'll begin settling into our new home and starting the process of putting everything back together. New horizons await, and we're excited for what lies ahead.

Thank you all for being part of this journey. We couldn't have done it without you.

🚚📦 Moving Week – Day One Update!

The trucks are loaded, and we're officially on the move!

Today marks the first day of our relocation, and thanks to a lot of hard work, thousands of models, parts, and supplies are packed up and headed to their new home. It's exciting to see years of growth literally rolling down the road as we begin this next chapter for ReSourced Rails.

As a reminder, shipping operations are temporarily paused while we focus on the move, and responses to emails and phone calls will be limited throughout the week.

Tomorrow, we'll share some "after" photos once the old space is officially empty. It's hard to believe how much has changed since we first opened our doors, and we can't wait to show you what's next.

Thank you all for your patience and continued support. This move wouldn't be possible without the amazing customers who have supported us over the years.

This week marks an exciting new chapter for ReSourced Rails as we relocate to our new home.

To allow our team to focus on the move and getting everything set up properly, all shipping operations will be temporarily paused until next Thursday. Responses to emails, Facebook messages, and phone calls will also be limited during this time as our crew is busy packing, loading, unloading, and organizing thousands of models and parts.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this transition. Our goal is to be back up and running next week, better than ever.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and dedication are the foundation of the freedoms we enjoy every day, and we are deeply grateful.
