I’m so excited for next Tuesday’s .collective holiday market ✨🦓🐾🦒

Sew Choice is incorporating a lot of sparkle this season: metallic threads, sequins and - as always - plenty of gemstone plush ornaments 💎 It’s been awesome joining forces with a group that prioritizes sustainability and facilitates opportunities for artists to swap and upcycle materials of alllll sorts. Thanks to Katy for this huge scrap of yellow craft felt!! 🤗💛 which was swiftly incorporated into my latest batch of Find Your Place bookmarks featuring a grid of sequins.

From T-shirts to thrifted linen, tote bags to beanies, everybody brought their own garment and went from BEGINNERS at embroidery to stitching blooms and leaves by the end of the night. It was a super fun and focused night, thank you all for a great class! 🪡🧵

This beginner class covers the basics if you’re new to embroidery or want to improve your fundamentals. You’ll have the option to follow the pattern (avail in EN & SP) or draw your own simple design.

What we’ll cover: threading a needle, tying knots, stretching fabric in a hoop, and techniques like straight stitch, back stitch, stem stitch and satin stitch.

Come craft in community Sat. November 8th 2-5pm
