Oh young Eva. There is so much I want to warn about about. But, sadly, I cannot.

There is a lot I would do over and do differently. But no amount of planning and preparation can get you ready for what experience will teach you.

It might sound like I’m being negative but this was just my reality of it and I don’t like to sugar coat. I think it’s important to show that this wasn’t the easiest thing. It was a hard build. It didn’t come together as smoothly as I had hoped. But I’m happy with the end result, happy for what I learned, thankful to those who showed up for me, and excited that I was able to overcome what once felt insurmountable.

Let’s make an overly dramatic rebuilding video, shall we? 😂 The shelves are up again and stronger than ever. Well... they better be. There’s some more damage but it’s more cosmetic than anything, luckily.

Some books were harmed, but we will love them all the same. Thank you to my amazing boyfriend for coming tot he rescue and to all the friends who offered their time and help! 🤍 I feel like a lucky girl with those who surround me.

Admitting defeat isn’t easy. Admitting it isn’t perfect is hard. Admitting that I didn’t do something correctly and have to redo it (especially when it seems like others have it figured out) fu***ng blows dick, honestly.

I’ve got a different method figured out and I hope I can get it all sorted out and get back on the road here soon. I want to give an amazing experience to everyone, including myself. It’s been a bumpy fu**in ride this far, but I hope the wrinkles will be less as time goes on and my iron will be hotter.

Thank you all for making my first few outings great learning experiences. I’m looking forward to further refining the trailer and bringing you the best local book space I can!
