I picked up a pair of nightstands several weeks ago at a garage sale. I was drawn to the handles....lol! I completely forgot to take before pictures. I painted them in black and added a black/gold wallpaper to the back and drawers. It gives it a simple elegance with the gold. These are now available for $140 for the pair.

It has been awhile since I posted. Enjoyed the holidays and have been working on the house. I have decided to slow down, I will be still refinishing but not as much. Decided to enjoy my time with my family for the last couple years that my daughter has of high school.

I have finally got this hoosier cabinet done! It was taking up a lot of space in the shop so I am glad it is done! New door had to be made on the bottom but it blends in very well. This piece is already taken. Be on the lookout for a post on a pair of nightstands. Hoping to have them done by next weekend.

Been working on this desk that my Dad gave me. At first I wasn't going to keep it for myself. But after picking it up from Nebraska and realizing how heavy and well made it was I decided to keep it. It was my Mom's and before that it was owned by a Great Aunt. So it does have some sentimental value. I think my Mom would of loved how it turned out. I know my Dad thinks it looks good.

It is a little
bittersweet to sell this coffee table. My husband had made it for us about 16 years ago using an old door from the house we were living in. I remember my daughter sitting in the middle of it watching TV. So many memories but it is time for someone else to have the memories with this one. It is just too big for our current house. I have done a complete "glow" up on it. The base is painted in pure white and sealed. The top is stained in dark walnut and sealed. Price is $150
Measurements are: 32 3/4" W, 19 1/4" H, 52" L. Send me a message if you would love to come take a look at this piece.

Base is done....working on sealing the top. The top had quite a bit of work to be done on it. The veneer in the middle was bubbling so I had to work in sections and use a syringe to get wood glue and flatten it out.
