Happy Fall, y'all!
Yes, I'm back. If you know me (on a personal level) at all, you know that summer is my "off season. I'm quite literally off and running for months, following my favorite young man all over the area watching him compete in his chosen sport. A sport that he has pursued for seven years and is planning to follow into college. Yes. I said COLLEGE. My baby boy has applied to his colleges of choice and we're saying "goodbye for now" in less than a year when he leaves us to follow HIS dreams. So you can see why I don't even feel a tiny bit badly about taking every summer "off" for him.
NOW!
It's not summer anymore, is it?
Nope! It's FALL now and the fall vibes got me! Soup and chili and fabric and rice and SEWING! Fall is my time to create and it is most definitely rice bag season. And I'm drooling over some of my new fabrics.
I'm spending my weekend planning, pressing, cutting and sewing! So keep an eye out for posts on finished rice babies, coming soon. Meanwhile, check out some of my goodies below....

Good morning, my rice baby loving friends!
I want to pick your brains for a minute.

I am working on a donation to a particular event coming up and I plan to include one of my neck wrap size rice bags. But....I don't want to JUST donate a rice bag. I would like to put together a basket of goodies to surround it. The theme of the event doesn't matter, but I need ideas for things to go in the basket WITH the rice bag.

Things like.....
- a nice snuggly throw blanket?
- bottle of wine?
- winter hand lotion?
- some nice chocolate?
- recently popular book?

This fun little neck wrap is going out to a friend today (not for sale), but man.....it sure does feel like a good day to warm one of these up and spend the day on the couch with a good book, doesn't it?
