Every year, returning customers walk in and ask….’What have you come up with that is new and different?’
Well, we have gone the way of the Infinity Shawl, the Shrugs, The Vermonter Scarf and Shawl Line, Cuffed Shawls and most recently Pocket Shawls….this year it is the Loop Pull Through…the first one never made it to the floor…this is the second…
These can be casual or dressy eith just a bit of asemmitry for some drama.
Easy to wear….light and not too long. The first of many one of a kind pieces😍

🥀Survivor Fashion 🥀
This beautiful Merino Wool Shawl reminds me of why the whole concept of Survivor Fashion began.
Indulge me for a quick 2 minute read….a true story.
Several years ago a very well dressed woman came into the shop. I noticed her immediately. Her hair, makeup and jewelry were perfect. Her clothing was extremely well tailored, a sort of understated elegance. She walked around the shop and began looking at the Infinity Shawls that I had recently finished for that Fall. It was early July. She began to try them on. One was her favorite and as she stood in front of the mirror she spoke loudly enough so I could hear her. ‘I can wear this to my son’s wedding in September!’ She was getting very emotional and even though I was behind the counter I could see her tears. I knew I had a sale which I was thrilled about…..and then she went and picked out a summer piece. My goodness….it was so exciting for me.
She walked to the counter and gave them to me to wrap up. I enthusiastically said ‘Thank you so much for your purchases today.’
She smiled…and what she said has been burned in my brain ever since. I can still see her face.
‘My dear, Thank you for making them. I have cancer, and they make me feel beautiful…..’
It was a defining moment in my life. We both shared several seconds of tears, hers for gratitude that she found some thing special she could wear that gave her joy. For me it was the very beginning of realizing how many beautiful souls have been left behind by the fashion industry. I don’t know her name but I will forever be grateful to her for opening my eyes.
So now, helping one person at a time who has a need is the goal every day.
Thank you for taking the time to read this real life short story.
