Hi everyone,

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Farewell Sale in November. A special thanks to those who helped organize, clean, and sell all weekend. We couldn’t have done it without you.

All inventory that wasn’t sold was donated to the Chesterfield Historical Society, Richmond Quilters' Guild, and Stitchers for a Cause at the Glen Allen Church of Christ.

The profits from the sale were donated to the Bensley-Bermuda Volunteer Rescue Squad and the Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center.

All in Cathy’s honor.

Thank you again to all of you. As sad as we are to say goodbye to The Busy Bea, we are so grateful for the community that supported the store and our family for so many years.

Thank you to all who joined us this weekend to celebrate Cathy’s life. We are so grateful to everyone who provided support, community, and love to her throughout her years. Cathy will be sincerely missed. 💜🦋

The memorial service for Cathy will be held THIS SATURDAY, April 23, at 1:00 PM in the Sanctuary of Chester United Methodist Church (12132 Percival St, Chester, VA 23831). A light reception for family and friends will follow in Davis Fellowship Hall.

Thank you so much for all the love and support after the passing of Cathy and again for the community and love you provided her.

We have organized a memorial service and would like to share the details for any who may be interested in joining us to celebrate her life.

The memorial service for our dear Cathy Ann Chase will be held on Saturday, April 23, at 1:00 PM in the Sanctuary of Chester United Methodist Church (12132 Percival St, Chester, VA 23831). A light reception for family and friends will follow in Davis Fellowship Hall.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our sister, aunt, and dear friend, Cathy Chase. She will be dearly missed.

Due to covid restrictions we will be gathering as a family and hope to organize a larger memorial in the weeks to come to celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers we are working with a local organization to set up a process for donations so that we can recognize any support. We will share all information on this page.

Thank you all for the kind words over the past few days, we shared them with Cathy as they came in. We are so grateful she had a community of love and support here in Chester.
