This was my Winter Wolf picture. It has eleven different types of wood used in it. There is a lot of time in cutting, carving, and sanding each piece. The end result is worth all the trouble. This is number three. I had planned to display it at the hospital but I put it on line and eight hours later it was sold and headed to Kentucky. I will have number four done by Monday, June 6th. It will be on display at the Mississippi Valley Art guild.

Here's a Merganser decoy I carved out of a block of pine from my neighbors tree. The tree was cut down a few years back. The decoy is a copy of one from 1880. It's all hand carved just the way they made them back then.
