Last year I found a great deal on a bushel of green beans. It seemed like a wonderful idea at the time. 😄

Let me tell you: A bushel is A LOT of green beans. My family may still be eating them for another year or two! I also like canning chicken with veggies to make soup. Who else is canning?

What makes our quilt batting durable?

At Nine Acres Quilt Batting, we use only long-staple cotton fibers. Because the fibers are longer, there are many more intersection points when the batting is needle-punched together.

What does that mean for quilters?

🧵 Less stretch
🧵 Minimal shrinkage (typically just 3% with cool wash and dry)
🧵 Less loose fiber in your sewing machine
🧵 Stitching can be up to 8 inches apart
🧵 A stable batting that holds up beautifully over time
