This top photo came up on my memories today. One of the very first pairs of earrings I ever made. It’s honestly crazy to look at the side-by-side and see just how far I’ve come.
This year marks 5 years since I started beading. When I first learned to bead I was soooo excited. I remember buying my first beads and creating nonstop for months at a time. Beading made me feel at home. It helped me connect to a part of myself I didn’t know was lost. I started dreaming of beads, colors, and patterns; waking up with anticipation to bring everything to life.
Since then I’ve grown my small business, taught tons of in person and online classes, sold at powwows and events all over, & now have a YouTube channel where I share how to bead! It’s so cool to see everything come full circle. Being able to share my knowledge with others is truly such a beautiful gift.
