“Fish on us” for free THIS weekend, June 1 and 2!

KDWP invites you and your family to get outdoors by visiting our public fishing waters and enjoy free fishing on June 1 and 2, 2024! While other fishing regulations apply, such as length and creel limits, anglers can enjoy fishing public waters without a license during this annual two-day event.

Free Fishing Weekend - This Saturday and Sunday, June 1 & 2, no Kansas fishing license is needed. Residents and out-of-state visitors may enjoy fishing on any public waters. Other regulations remain in effect including local fishing permits where required.
