So here I am, writing a post that I've been putting off for as long as possible.

At the end of October, I filled everyone in on what has been going on with the store and what could end up happening. After much thought and discussion, we ultimately have decided to close the store. December will be the last month we are officially open. It saddens us that we have to do that as so many of you were excited about having a place like this in Cheney. Thank you to all the amazing people in this community that supported us along the way.

With all that being said, I'll be posting sales throughout all of December. Come on down and pick up some amazing deals on nearly all products before Christmas.

*December 2nd to 10th - Everything will be 20% off*

The magic event scheduled for tonight at NorthStar Taps will be canceled. Both me and the wife are out sick.

Hello everyone.

I wanted to make this post to fill everybody in on what's happening with the store and to be as transparent as possible with all of you.

The summer months definitely took a toll on us as a store. We weren't prepared for the significant decrease in sales. With less income coming in, we had to decrease the amount of new inventory and products. In turn we haven't been able to carry a fair amount of the more recent releases of Magic and Pokemon and this was noticed by many of our repeat customers. This weighed heavy on our minds as a lot of you came in asking if we had certain products and we had to say no. Another factor that played into our current situation is the increase in the price of products.

One of the biggest things I tried to pride myself on is to bring you low and affordable prices on our products. It just doesn't feel right to try and nickel and dime our customers. Could that be one of the reasons we are struggling? I don't know. Am I going to change that now? Most likely not.

As for the store, I don't really know what is going to happen. I'm trying my hardest to keep the doors open but with how things are looking, I don't know how much longer I can keep doing that. I just want everyone to know that we appreciate all of your support and that we are just going to keep trying until we can't.

If it wasn't for all of our loyal customers, we wouldn't have made it as far as we did. I just wanted to thank everyone who has supported us so far. We will continue to fight.

We have been working non-stop since April. In order to have a more work-life balance, we will be changing our hours:

Saturday 12-5
Sunday 12-5

Sunday 12-5

Due to the decrease in customers on Friday as well as preparing our home for winter. We have decided to change our hours on Friday. We live 3 blocks from the store. So if you need something we can just pop down and open the store. Saturday and Sunday hours are the same.
