US Army Vietnam Veteran Robert Burkhard and my husband, fondly referred to as Junior by his family. This weekend we celebrate not only his service but remember the decades long sacrifice as he lived with ALS the remainder of his life. I hope he knows that his son grew into the man that he always wanted him to be. ❤️🇺🇸
