One of the guiding ideas at the core of Alchemy of Spirits is that we always seek to encourage growth as people are moving along their unique spiritual path. We now find ourselves at a crossroad where our teams' individual journeys are calling us in different directions. Closing our physical shop started a time of introspection and refocusing for each of us which helped to confirm that the time isn't right for another shop. We are each continuing to grow and need to follow our callings.
What does this mean for Alchemy of Spirits? Alchemy is all about blending individual components and transforming them into something greater than the sum of their parts. Over the months you'll see some changes - we will be focusing on the Mystic Enchantment Candles and reintroducing our custom candles in a more streamlined website. Jace will continue to offer his guidance and you'll start to see information about Kelly's Care Doula offerings and Jeanne's Herbology and Metal crafting fusions. Separate paths branching out and entwining where they make the most sense!
Some journeys are more far reaching than others. Our Jeanne has decided that the time is right to explore some new horizons. She has long cursed the Buffalo winters and her attempts to hibernate from late September until April are legendary. To finally free herself from Winter's icy grip she will be seeking a new home in lovely North Carolina. We wish her safe travels and the speed of Mercury getting everything set up in her new home. On a personal note, I've been truly blessed to have Jeanne in my life for the past forty years. Our paths through life have seen us together, apart, and have been infused with so many shared friends and adventures. Through it all she has been my sage counsel, the touchstone that guides me safely back, and above all my dearest friend. As we enter a new chapter in which it will take more planning a care to be in each other's presence I know that home will always be found in a grilled hard roll, a cup of coffee, and your laughter, my friend. You are, always have been, and always will be my sister. Gimme paw!
Be on the lookout for new meditation moments on our social platforms, and updates regarding where we'll be for shows and events. Things will look different, but they will always have the love and care that Alchemy of Spirits has always tried to bring our friends and community. We love you all, and promise we won't stay away so long!
