Some days like today, something will trigger my emotions and then my mind will wander and my feels will get in the way. I know you’ve been there too. It makes me feel like I will never be as good, as liked, as loved or accepted as others. Sometimes I feel like I’m a failure at everything I attempt and will never be good enough. Then I will have to shake myself and pull myself back together and remind myself that I AM a child of the Most High God and I AM enough no matter what someone else may think. So it doesn’t matter if others like me or accept me, I know that I am loved and highly favored by my God – The Great God Jehovah! I am called and chosen! The Most High God chose me!! He chose you!! That is exciting! There is NO ONE greater than our God and He chose us! The greatest tool the enemy has is your mind. If he can control your mind he can control you. So when your mind starts off on a path of trying to self-evaluate and wonder about the what-if’s and ask all the whys, remind yourself that you are enough! Remember Jesus says, “My Grace is sufficient for you and my power is made perfect in weakness.”
So set your mind on things above and not on earthly things. Encourage yourself:
I will continue to run to God because he is my refuge and my strength and He says I AM ENOUGH!
I am the workmanship of God created in Christ Jesus and that MAKES ME ENOUGH!
The Lord is with me wherever I go so
I AM ENOUGH!
